The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon shows great depth and structure. Our vines were farmed meticulously maintaining the proper amount of cluster/clusters for each individual shoot. This technique produces a very intense wine that captures the flavors of our site. The wine was aged in 85% French oak and 15% American oak barrels, 57% of which were new. The wine was bottled without filtration.

There are aromas of blackberry, anise, cocoa and wood smoke, which continue on the palate with the flavor of black cherry. Optimum harvesting produces soft, silky wines with rich tannins that will continue to develop with age, but are approachable when young.
