The 2009 Syrah shows bright aromas along with
great structure. Our vines were farmed meticulously maintaining
the proper amount of cluster/clusters for each individual shoot.
This technique produces a very intense wine that captures the
flavors
of our site. The Syrah was aged in 100% French oak barrels (37%
of which were new) for 14 months. The wine was bottled without
filtration.
Classic aromas of boysenberry and blackberry with
a smokey accent dominate the wine, while cranberry, blackberry flavors
and refined tannins round out the flavors and finish.
