The 2013 Syrah shows bright aromas along with great structure. Our vines were farmed meticulously maintaining the proper amount of cluster/clusters for each individual shoot. This technique produces a very intense wine that captures the flavors of our site. The Syrah was aged in a combination of French and American Oak (30% new French oak and 6% new American oak) for 15 months. The wine was bottled without filtration.
Classic aromas of boysenberry and blackberry with a smokey accent dominate the wine, while cranberry, blackberry flavors and refined tannins round out the flavors and finish.
